About car rental in Bali
Which car should I choose?
The Toyota Agya and Honda Brio are compact automatic hatchbacks for everyday trips and tight parking. The Toyota Raize and Honda HR-V are five-seat SUVs. If you need more seats, compare the seven-seat Toyota Avanza and Mitsubishi Xpander. The Suzuki Jimny is a four-seat 4x4.
For airport pickup, tell us how many passengers and bags you're bringing. We'll check which car fits your plans and confirm availability for your dates.
A car is practical for family trips, groceries and rainy days, or days out in Ubud and on the east coast. If most of your trips are short and local, scooter or car in Bali can help you choose.
Delivery and collection
We're based in Denpasar and deliver across South Bali and to Ubud. Delivery rates each way are:
- Canggu, Pererenan, Seminyak and Kuta: Rp 50.000.
- Uluwatu: Rp 150.000.
- Ubud: Rp 100.000 to Rp 150.000.
Collection is charged separately. For other locations, send your pin and we'll confirm the fee before you book. We deliver and collect between 10:00 and 22:00.
At handover, we photograph the car together and record existing marks before you sign the agreement and receive the keys.

What's included?
- The car's registration documents.
- Oil changes and scheduled servicing during your rental.
- WhatsApp support, 09:00–23:00 WITA.
Fuel, delivery, collection, parking, fines, punctures and other consumables are paid separately. The rental price does not include insurance or damage cover.
If the car has a mechanical problem, we repair it or bring a replacement, and you don't pay for the days you couldn't use it. Damage is handled separately under the rental agreement. We tell you the repair cost before any work starts.
Deposit and payment
The standard deposit is Rp 1.000.000, unless the car's card shows a different amount. Your passport stays with you. We return the deposit after checking the car together, minus any agreed charges.
Pay in Indonesian rupiah, by cash, bank transfer or QRIS. Deposit transfers must be agreed beforehand. We don't accept cards. The rental terms explain the conditions and charges.
Good to know
Yes. Send your flight number and landing time, and we'll agree where to meet. The airport meeting fee is Rp 100.000, plus parking at Rp 12.000 an hour.
Yes. Monthly rates are shown where available on the car's card. Send your dates and we'll confirm the total price. You can find servicing and rental details on our monthly car rental page.
Ask us before your rental ends. If the car is available, we'll confirm the extra days and price. The extension takes effect once we've confirmed it in writing and you've paid.
Your passport or ID, your original driving licence valid for cars, and an International Driving Permit if required for your licence. Your original documents stay with you. Our documents guide explains which licences need an IDP.
