Rental terms

Every amount we are allowed to charge is on this page, and every one of them is in the agreement you sign before the keys change hands. Nothing here is a surprise at the vehicle.

01

What you need

18 or older
A valid driving licence. A foreign licence needs an International Driving Permit alongside it; Indonesian drivers need a SIM A for a car, a SIM C for a bike
Your passport or ID: we photograph it and write the number into the agreement, and you keep the original
A security deposit of Rp 1.000.000, in cash or by transfer agreed in the chat beforehand, handed over at the vehicle and returned on the spot at the end after we look the vehicle over together
The rental itself is settled at handover
02

Booking and minimum term

The shortest rental is one day, on everything we rent
Take a vehicle for twenty days and you pay for twenty: nothing is rounded up to a month you did not ask for
Extensions take effect once we confirm them and the added days are paid. No new contract, no second handover
If nothing has been paid, cancelling is one message and the dates go back in the calendar
If a booking deposit has been paid, cancelling at least two days before the start keeps that money as credit towards a future booking with us, rather than as a refund
Cancelling the day before, or on the day itself, does not carry over: the vehicle was held for those dates and they are gone
03

Delivery and return

We deliver and collect between 10:00 and 22:00
Usually within the hour, up to two hours for farther areas
Delivery from Rp 50.000 for one leg, charged again for the pickup
Rp 150.000 to Uluwatu. Rp 100.000 to Rp 150.000 up to Ubud
Further out the fee follows the distance, and we name the exact sum in the chat once we know the address
Meeting you at DPS arrivals with a car is Rp 100.000. The car park ticket is Rp 12.000 an hour and it is on you
Late return is Rp 100.000 per hour; over five hours it counts as a full day
Luxury and sport models are arranged individually: delivery, deposit and holding terms are agreed in the chat before anything is booked
04

Using the vehicle

Bali only. Taking the vehicle off the island needs our written approval
Driven by the person named in the agreement
Two people maximum on a bike: the rider and one passenger. Never three
No off-road racing, stunts or beach riding
No commercial use: no Gojek, no Grab, no paid deliveries
No mileage limit
05

Damage, and what things cost if they go wrong

We photograph the vehicle together at handover, so a mark that was already there is not yours to pay for
Report any scratch, crash or breakdown straight away
Repairs are charged at what they actually cost, and we name the figure before any work starts
A lost helmet is Rp 300.000. Lost keys are the full cost of replacement
A heavy clean is up to Rp 100.000 on a bike, up to Rp 300.000 on a car. Rinse it before you hand it back and it does not come up
If the vehicle is off the road because of damage you caused, that is charged at the daily rate for up to ten days
Theft or a write-off is settled at what the same model and year is quoted at by a dealer
Traffic fines and parking are yours, including the notices that arrive after the rental ends
06

What is not covered

The rental price includes no insurance or damage cover for you
A bike has no damage or theft insurance: damage or theft is on the renter
Fuel, punctures and consumables are yours at any length of rental
If something has a mechanical problem, we repair the vehicle or bring another, and you don't pay for the days you lose
If it has a mechanical problem, we come out to you with a replacement. Damage is handled separately, under the contract. Hana answers 09:00 to 23:00
07

Paying

The rental is settled in rupiah, in cash or by Indonesian bank transfer
We do not take cards, QRIS or any online payment at any point
The deposit is separate from the rental: cash, or a transfer agreed in the chat beforehand
